Physician Adherence to Screening Guidelines
A study of adherence by primary care doctors in Malaysia to cancer screening guidelines
The general aim of this study is to investigate adherence to guidelines by primary care doctors. Specific objectives include conducting a mixed-methods study of barriers and factors that hinder or influence adherence to the relevant guideline for the early detection of each of the following cancers: colorectal, breast and cervical.
Research funding is provided by the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences, Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) as part of a collaborative research programme between Manipal University College, QUB and MUM.
